Description
The organic linden honey from Apicoltura Avìe by Simone Coppola is produced in the mountains of the Varaita Valley, in the summer period of flowering of the plants, usually in the month of July. Production takes place in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. The bees are raised in organic apiaries, where they can feed freely on the lime flowers without the use of pesticides or harmful chemicals. This guarantees pure, high-quality honey, which retains all the beneficial properties of the plants from which it comes. The collected nectar is then processed in our laboratory in La Morra, in the Langhe area.
Characteristics
Organic lime honey has a delicate and aromatic flavour. The taste is sweet and slightly floral, with notes of citrus and mint. The color in its liquid state is amber, more or less intense, while when it is crystallized and in solid form the color ranges from ivory to beige tones, with large and irregular crystals.
